I have now tried selling over 50 domain names and have done nothing but lose money.  The only people making money off my eBay listings was eBay.  Out of the 50 or so domain names only 20% of them sold, when they did sell the majority were at a lose.  I tried 5, 7 and 10 day auctions; I tried ending them Sunday night, weekdays and weeknights.  The auctions ending in the afternoon on weekdays around 4:30pm est were the most successful by a small percentage.

Needless to say I have removed my eBay link and will be closing the eBay store very soon.  Just need to close out a few transactions.

]]> http://www.domainsubway.com/comments-off.html/feed Sold My Last Mini-Site http://www.domainsubway.com/sold-my-last-mini-site.html http://www.domainsubway.com/sold-my-last-mini-site.html#comments Tue, 21 Oct 2008 16:53:40 +0000 Domain Subway http://www.domainsubway.com/?p=43 I just sold off my last mini-site yesterday.  For now I am going to stay away from mini-sites and focus on the big picture.  Mini-sites are a great source of income IF you have traffic.  I do not have the time to develop a site and hope for traffic.  What I have decided to do is work more on quality instead of quantity.  I have five projects in total and would like to concentrate my efforts on those.  One of those is actually a blog for my wife.  She has been a house wife for years now and would really like to blog about her life experiences.  With this one I am just helping her get it started and then she can take it from there.  My most important projects are DNKitchen.com and selling domain names.  I have nearly 1000 domain names now and need to focus on moving them.  If you have been reading this blog since the beginning you would know that I am still new to domaining.  I am now in my forth month doing this full time and still have not sold a single domain name for over $100.  This is mainly because I have not made the effort to do so.  That will change, starting next week I am going to start plugging away and sales.  I will keep everyone updated on my sales right here.

I am also going to give eBay another shot.  Should have some domains for sale up there by tomorrow.

I do have a sports forum for sale.  SportsFrenzy.com, I paid for a completely custom theme, not cheap.  If you are interested send me an email through the contact page.  Before you ask, the forum has zero traffic and zero posts.  The sale would only be for the domain name and forum.
